This one day conference chaired by Bridget Penhale Editor Journal of Adult Protection and Reader in Gerontology School of Nursing and Midwifery University of Sheffield focusing on Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults in an opportunity to hear practical advice from leading healthcare professionals on strengthening the safeguarding framework and implementing 'No Secrets'.

The conference closes with a presentation from Carole Crocker Deputy Director of Nursing Great Western Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, who will discuss safeguarding within the complaints process and managing complaints that involve Vulnerable Adults, the use of advocates to support vulnerable people and developing joint protocols for resolving and learning from complaints.
