Increasing the NHS engagement with safeguarding: Implementing 'No Secrets'

Chaired by Dr David Hunt, Clinical and Clinical Lead for Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust, this one day second annual conference begins with an opening address from Ann Close National Clinical Advisor Care Quality Commission focusing on safeguarding people when they are vulnerable in hospital as a key dimension of quality and safety, implementing No Secrets within health services and implementing the recommendations from the Care Quality Commission model of quality and role of the Care Quality Commission in monitoring safeguarding in hospitals.
